Well, if we need a good laugh, here's the nation's #1 Dork making like Miss Liberty (actually, he was giving a thumb's up to someone, but the photographer framed the pic just so preciously):

And here's the Dork trying to suck up to some sweet young girl on the way over to Liberty Island -- and she doesn't appear to want anything to do with him. Notice how everyone seems so grim. Being in Kerry's presence must be just a barrel of laughs.

Earlier in the day, the nation's #1 Dweeb appeared at Cooper Union with a not-so-subtle bust of Abe Lincoln sharing the stage (Sheesh! Talk about hokey. "Hi, I'm John Kerry, and it's no accident I almost look like Honest Abe. Why, we're practically related!"):

That picture of Kerry with the Lincoln bust is REALLY creepy! In the original version of THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE,the slimy Senator,who is the MC's step father,has busts of Lincoln all over the house,his office,and goes to the costume ball as .....Honest Abe!
