The Swift Boat vets have made it clear in their book Unfit for Command that they feel Kerry slimed them when he returned from Vietnam AND in his own book.
Kerry tried to bribe the Swift Boat vets and said if they supported him that he would take out references to them in his book that are damaging to their reputations.

I heard about the call on fox, but this is the only thread I've been able to find mentioning it at all (I must be doing something wrong?).
