"This Hurley lawyer defending Kerry against the Swifties was also a Kerry cohort back then."

I read in another post earlier (an interview with John O'Neill) that Hurley was in an engineering battalion in Vietnam and that he also talked about "committing atrocities" in the Kerry book, "Tour of Duty". He was tracked down by another member of his battalion and was lambasted for making that charge. The book is supposed to be amended in the next print.

Don't know the details, but he said he was Army, in Vietnam at the same time as Kerry and had not served on Swift Boats. He didn't specify more.
