I remember two weeks ago telling a liberal on another forum that the Swiftboat story was a snowball going downhill. Of course, I was laughed at.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. The message being given to us by the SBVFT is tough medicine. "We," the public, did not welcome our Vietnam heros home. This is bigger than politics, bigger than our dysfunctional media. I am in awe of what O'Neill and the rest of the SBVFT are doing. It is the right thing, it is the right time, and it is about time.

Many of the 'complaints' about the Swiftees came from RNC and GOP pros and supporters. "Get on with present issues," "Vietnam is a turn off to the voters," "This will backfire on Bush," they said. But the crux of the Swiftees allegations is bigger than an election.

I am hoping that because of what these brave and courageous Swiftees are doing that the truth about Vietnam and what John Kerry and his ilk did to our country will be widespread.

John Kerry has blood on his hands and he will never be cleansed of his guilt of the millions of Cambodians that were slaughtered after we left.
