I do believe that Chris has now read O'Neil's book. While he is still a lib, his questions have the seeds of info and doubt about Kerry that he did not have the other night IMO.
Did you perchance listen to Hannity today?
He had a 6-yr POW, Paul Galanti, on. Galanti describes having that tape played for him incessantly when he was in captivity. Initially, he thought it was a lie -- it wasn't really a Naval officer saying those things.
Eventually, he could cite the speech from memory -- especially the annoying "Jhenjhis Khan".
Upon his return, Galanti buried the memory. Until, years later, this Spring, he heard a replay of the speech. When he heard "Jhenjhis Khan", the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. Finally, he had made the connection -- "that Naval officer" was running for President.
He state he never knew who it was until recently when he heard the replay of Kerry's testimony. He said his hair stood on end when he heard that voice. Said he thought it couldn't possibly be a naval officer because of the mispronunciation.
Doesn't g-d work in mysterious ways?
He will henceforth be called Jengis John.
Did you hear what the POW from the ad (Galanti maybe)who was interviewed by Hannity today said about that? He said he first heard the testimony when he was a POW. He didn't take notice of the man's name, but he noticed the incorrect pronunciation of Ghengis. Then recently when all this was brought up again, he heard that tape, and when he heard Kerry say "Jenjis," he had a flashback. It was then that he realized that the man who said that all those years ago is now running for president.
