I mean that is what the Swiftvets have been saying that it was self-inflicted and the his commanding officer refused to turn it in but he ended up getting it. Although no one knew how of who put him in for it.

FNC tonight said the Kerry campaign admitted the injury for the first PH might have been self inflicted.

This agrees with the Swifties conclusion and makes me suspicious that Kerry gamed the system and applied for the PH himself.
