Yes...I heard him say that...Kerry's own words don't square with his own words...his diaries don't match up with the timing of his 1st purple heart...this should get interesting...I'd like to see who recommended him for that purple heart...isn't that the one that he put in for himself?...he fired at some rocks on the riverbank and got a splinter-sized piece of shrapnel in his arm...the doctor (Letson, I think) refused to sign for him so he went down the line and got a male nurse to write up the injury...this would be hysterical....he wounds himself, goes 'doctor-shopping', writes up a ficticious report about enemy fire, and then claims to be a hero.
