Key question..Kerry has given his wartime journal to Brinkley, said that's why he can't releasde it to the press. Will he be asked to make them public?..or will they all go in the tank
My understanding from other reports is that Brinkley (wisely) did not mention the Cambodia claim at all in the book.
And .. the very same people who defended Clinton!
And, in a way, the SwiftVets account too -- they say that Kerry wrote those accounts, and that the accounts written by Kerry are fabrications.
Sheesh. Open mouth, remove all doubt.
As far as Matthews is concerned, I keep pledging that I won't watch him but he's like a traffic accident. The best thing to do is Tivo him and go straight for the rabid, foaming parts.
Nah because Pat is for America first in jobs, immigration and foreign policy and now against Kerry.
Brinkley: "shrapnel in the arm is only a bit away from being shrapnel in the eye and that would have left him blinded".
That's as obvious as saying "If democrats had guts they would be republicans"
I read that he is revising the book, for a new edition..to cover the new admissions that Kerry was never in Cambodia, as the book stated. Kerry supposed gave Brinkley thhis contemporaneous diaries..the ones that say ine days AFTER Kerry's PH citation..Kerry writes that he has yet to be fired upon..Brinkley has them..Kerry said he can't release them to the press becuase Brinklye has them..well, Chrisssy?..we're waiting..
If only Matthews did a little homework, he would find a few more lies by Kerry.
Another Kerry lie was exposed by the Boston Globe in April 2004:
The Kerry campaign removed a 20-page batch of documents yesterday from its website after The Boston Globe quoted a Navy officer who said the documents wrongly portrayed Kerry's service. Edward Peck had said he -- not Kerry -- was the skipper of Navy boat No. 94 at a time when the Kerry campaign website credited the senator with serving on the boat. The website had described Kerry's boat as being hit by rockets and said a crewmate was injured in an attack.
But Peck said those events happened when he was the skipper. The campaign did not respond to a request to explain why the records were removed.

Yes, he's so against Kerry he launched an anti-Bush book last Friday as a campaign contribution to President Bush. LOL! You poor patsies are a hoot. What's the matter, did you pay full price for buchanan's latest attack book? You should have waited just three days and you would have saved a lot of money. Heck, wait another week and it will be on the $2 and Under table.
Granted, his dust covers do make great urinal liners, but the pages are just to stiff to put them to their most appropriate use. If only they would print his books on two-ply.
Be still my heart? Matthews read the book and changed his tune?
Thanks for the link!
l967...I was a jr at NYU..and at the Garden ..the old garden..for Bradley's first game as a Knick..midway through the first quarter..Holtzman put him in..when Bradley stood up, to take off his sweats..he got a standign O..it continued for 10 minutes..it was unre3al..Bradley scored his first NBA basket..a jumper from the corner, off the fast break, on an assist from..Cazzie Russell...I can see it in my mind like it was yesterday...
An avalanche has a nasty habit of sneaking up on people..
Sort of; he's questioning Kerry though.
Do you believe that Kerry shot himself on purpose? Where?
This is the guy who was Jenjis Khan before he was Gengis Khan.
A friend dropped off Unfit for Command. I've read 1/3 of the book. I am reading a tragedy.
Although I thought I was well informed by reading about O'Neil and the Swift Boat vets charges on FR, it is NOTHING compared to the book.
Nearly every single thing we thought about the war was portrayed incorrectly by the press and by the way in which Kerry was able to characterize our beloved, brave soldiers. I could sob. It is a tragedy.
