Is she being picky or something?
I have to tell you a little story about an astronaut in Houston.
I worked at Life Flight at Hermann Hospital in Houston. It is an emergency medical helicopter service.
We are the only service like that in this part of the state. So, we had an arrangement with NASA to have their astronauts come and do helicopter ride a longs.
The pilots were used to giving tours of the helicopters for patients, visitors, etc, so we called the pilot up to the helipad to give a tour.
We told the pilot nothing more than that because he tended to be a bit of a jerk sometimes. (We were being bad, hehehe)
Anyway, he was in his usual bad mood, so he takes the man, who is dressed in a white shirt and black pants up to the helipad to show him the helicopters.
The man listened politely to the pilot and then asked a couple of aviation questions. After a couple of questions like that, the pilot sort of rolled his eyes. (he hated "amatuer" pilots). He said "Oh, you know how to fly?". The man just said, "Yes, I fly some".
More eye rolling from our pilot, but he asked (sarcastically) "Well, what do you fly????"
Our visitor: "The Space Shuttle"
You should have seen our pilot's face!!!
Then we told the pilot that the man was an astronaut who would be flying with him that night.
It was great fun!
