In her defense, I sure wouldn't want my kid riding with Billy Joel.
He is the guy who, after 3 alcohol related car accidents, stated he did not have a drinking problem, he has an alcohol problem. To date, nobody has figured out what the difference is.

He doesn't have a drinking problem---He drinks all he want--NO PROBLEM.
He has a problem absorbing it and functioning when he has had alcohol intake---Hence, he has an "alcohol" problem.
Heard this all my life with my mother.
