I can't find this anywhere else; it's NewsMax and I'm leery.
But if it is true, what on EARTH has gotten into Bob Dole??
IMHO, the article and headline, is missleading..Dole didn't just "defend" the Swifties"..he gave them complete "cover"..for whatever they said, or will say..because now, any impugning the SBV is an attack on Dole..Bob most definitely has a dog in this fight..
