"Yep Signing CFR was a BRILLIANT move"
Yes, brilliant, indeed. That and his failed immigration policy, appointing Colin Powell to head State, the prescription drug entitlement, and budget-busting spending.
Having said all that, I am as certain as I am of the sunrise that electing Kerry would be a disaster on many fronts. I have always supported President Bush, even though some of his policy errors have been hard to swallow.
I justify my continued support by hoping a second Bush administration -- free to operate without thought of re-election -- will correct many of the mistakes.
Although I get a charge out of watching Kerry squirm in the face of the Swiftboat ads, I fear all this attention is detracting from Kerry's post-war traitorous behavior and his nineteen years as a liberal, do-nothing senator.
I think the Bush campaign finds the ads a hindrance, and I sincerely believe they will end up hurting the effort by election day. People do not appreciate being reminded of such a divisive time in history; why can't we concentrate on the Kerry of TODAY?
Kerry's claim to the presidency is the past. 35 years ago is today for little Johnny. It's all he has.
You don't hear him wanting to discuss the last 35 years he's been AWOL, do you ?
