If I were Kerry, I would gin up a one minute ad campaign starring John McCain (SBVFT ad is "dishonorable and dishonest") and GWB (Kerry served admirably and he should be pround of his service) and list my military decorations. I would then show it in the battleground states opposite the SBVFT ads.

And Bush, by making today's comments, give Kerry half the ammo to do just that.

But keep in mind that no matter what Kerry says, the SBVFT ads will still be highly effective. This isn't a criminal court room. If the voters end up with a reasonable doubt about Kerry's honesty and patriotism, that will be enough to convince them not to vote for Kerry.
