All that clause in the First Amendment seems to protect these days is worthless trash like virtual kiddie porn. Which is worse, the Swiftboat vets speaking their mind about Kerry or virtual kiddie porn?

"Negative politics" is nothing more than the right to criticize politicians. You do not have to like it or agree with it, but do you really think it should be banned?

Ahem - he said they should stop, a verbal statement about what would be good; they have free speech, so does Bush. he didnt start siccing the AG on them, or rifling through their IRS records.

Personally I like their #2 - far more hard-hitting than anything Bush has done so far.
