Anyone have a link to that Doonesbury cartoon? Some people are telling it never happened and I'd like to prove it to them.

Trudeau's cartoons are less important to civilized behavior than toilet paper.

"Dems tried to discredit HW Bush's WWII service too."

The Distinguished Flying Cross is nothing to laugh about...unless you're insame and overmedicated, like most lefties these days (the rest are just insane).

Trudeau mocked Kerry in his column in the 70's. Has he done anything since?

Yes indeed. They claimed he "machine-gunned fishermen," off Saipan. Utter BS. And look at what happened to those fliers captured by the Japanese? Cooked and eaten...

Last I saw, there is no such evidence.

I only can surmise that the rice traveled from his bony buttocks to his champagne- and French wine-addled brain, and somehow caused the delusion that he is qualified to serve as this country's president and commander in chief.

Are you kidding? I would have thought True-dohh would have celebrated something like that. Maybe even he realized Kerry went waaaay over the line.

Isn't Gary Trudeau married to news maven Jane Pauly?

No wonder she's suffered from chronic depression.

The media had no qualms about questioning Bob Dole's war injuries but don't you question the patriotism of John Kerry who was peppered with rice in the butt.

Dropping Stoicism About His War Wounds, Dole Reveals Their Strains on Daily Living (The Washington Post = May, 1996, with a passing reference to a series of strips by Gary Trudeau).

I just read your small print....I will Pray for you that you don't need the chemo. I'll Pray that your healing is complete.

Thanks very much for your prayers. Much appreciated.

The oncologist stated that he's going to take the results of the labs to the cancer review board next week. Right now the doctors are slightly in favor of not recommending chemotherapy or radiation. Won't know for certain until late next week.

All told, I have no complaints. I think I've already been through the worst of it after two major surgeries this past couple of months.
