It was too bad that the Enterprise crew...when in S.F. looking for the appropriate Cetaceans
didnt stumble into a 'StarTrek' convention...

The most pressing question: Will my aluminum foil hat still work if it's transparent?

Um... Alumina (aka Aluminum Oxide) is recognized more commonly as quartz, sapphire, emerald, or several other gemstones. Transparency in alumina is nothing new; transparent metallic aluminum would be something special. Where do they get these idiots???

transparent would definitely be an asset, but would it still keep out the Venusian mind control beams?

Cool, except it isn't transparent aluminum.

It's transparent ALUMINA.

Aluminum Oxide. Al2-O3.
