Thank you for another good post.
It would be nice if just once a science thread wasn't hijacked.

Any evidence of another iridium layer? Perhaps the impact wasn't as effusive.Dunno.

.A short history of early time measurements. Still no comments on siderial vs solar days. Is it the time it takes the Sun to revolve around the Earth (as suggested above); the time for the Dog Star to do so; the time for the Morning and Evening Star? Clearly it cannot be the time for the Inconstant Moon to orbit the Earth. Perhaps it's the time between high tides.

Wrong! The Earth is bit-mapped portion of brain matter that can be, and is periodically changed to enhance the test results.

The only thing that makes it "seem" older are flawed dating methods imagined by men. Disprove those dating methods and a Nobel prize awaits.
Until then, you're just some guy who interprets the Bible in a certain manner.

Since the earth is only about 10,000 years old,
Interesting. My Bible left this part out. Must be defective.

I have the Bible on tape. How do I fast forward to that section?
To: HawkeyeLonewolf
Nah, they've been disproven already, so I cannot claim victory... That would be news to the 1000's of people in fields such as paleontology and archeology who routinely rely on these dating methods. A couple of fundamentalists with a website are about as authoritative on this issue as Barbra Streisand is on politics.

And it's called READING WHAT'S THERE -- not interpreting. By the very act of reading, human beings interpret.

You heathens interested in a pool on Hawk's identity? Or perhaps his staying power? I'm betting 7 days.

Bring something? Such as? A.I.G. is so beat to death it's not funny. I'm all for debate, but the same people keep coming here spewing the same "the sky is green" stuff. Nothing fresh (which, ofcourse, is inherent in Creationism).
