Former Republican Sen. Bob Dole suggested Sunday that John Kerry apologize for past testimony before Congress about alleged atrocities during the Vietnam War and joined critics of the Democratic presidential candidate who say he received an early exit from combat for "superficial wounds."

Dole also called on Kerry to release all the records of his service in Vietnam.

Meanwhile, on a similar order of probability: I want Salma Hayek, Elizabeth Hurley and Catherine Zeta-Jones to show up at my place tomorrow. Dressed as nurses. And toting large bottles of baby oil. :)

Okay. But you have to bring either Charisma Carpenter or that chick who played "Go-Go" in Kill Bill along with you. Fair's fair, man. :)

You're asking too much. Catherine Zeta-Jones is married :)

Salma Hayek and Elizabeth Hurley have their nurse uniforms ready to go. The tops are a size too small !

A new Kerry TV ad urged the president to "denounce the smear" and 'get back to the issues" because America deserves better."

It would be nice if Kerry has spoken about the issues himself instead we get Im JfnK reporting for duty, and Edwards himself telling all those who listened to spend three minutes with JfnK. You asked for every bit of criticism you are getting.

Now you've gone and done it. Shame on you for making Maureen Dowd cry.

Wait, though: it gets even better.

Later on, I have Bill Clinton coming over. (I told him there would be an overabundance of broads, and... well: you know him, right...?)

At one point, he's going to let us blindfold him, and point him in the direction of one specific bedroom, where (I've already assured him) a hot young journalist lies naked, moist and waiting for him -- burning, blistering with the long-suppressed need to do to him what Sherman did to Atlanta... in slow motion.

The hard part, actually, was conning Chris Matthews into taking all his clothes off and laying down in the bedroom, waiting quietly. :)
