Kennedy cousin jumps into Santa Monica politics

Maria Shriver's big brother, Bobby Shriver, is entering the family business. The 50-year-old Kennedy cousin is running for a Santa Monica City Council seat Nov. 2. It's Bobby Shriver's first bid for public office. He entered the public arena earlier this year when his brother-in-law, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, appointed him chairman of the state Park and Recreation Commission. In Santa Monica, though, the local newspaper said he's best known for fighting the city's limits on the height of hedges around homes.

Well, he is running from the rich district in Santa Monica, and it is very rich, north of Montana Street. Still Dem though.
