WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. John Kerry's campaign released a video Saturday comparing the controversy over Kerry's Vietnam service to attacks on John McCain during the 2000 Republican primaries.

That is a complete lie. Kerry was reprimanded for "destroying the village" It is in in a PDF file after action report released today. His command wrote that he missed a great opportunity for PsyOps.

Have you read the after action reports on Kerry's site? There are 2 versions, one that is typed neatly and the actual reports in PDF. The discrepancies are mind boggling. It also so shows that Kerry issued ALL casualty reports and every one of them use the exact same language.

When Kerry came back from Nam and was recalled into the USNR, he was courtmartialed and eventually, convicted of a form of treason. To avoid serving hard time at Leavenworth, he was elected to the Senate. Kerry is in the Senate solely because a member of the legislative branch is immune to punishment by the executive branch.

Kerry had the bucks to buy a pardon from Willie, but the matter would have been public.

This is one of the POWs they're now attacking for criticizing Kerry. How does that even make sense? The guy worked for McCain, not Bush, yet now he's criticizing Kerry. Doesn't that prove the SWVT's point?

I agree. Besides .. the ad is deceptive in that it presumes to know that the people doing the SwiftVet ad are the same people who attacked McCain .. according to Rush .. they're not .. and Rush told McCain he needed to check it out. I don't think Rush would have said that over the air if Rush didn't already know it's not the same people.

Somebody needs to point out in the RNC that one of the POWs the Kerry campaign is attacking was a campaign chairman for McCain! See my post above.
