Swift Boat Veterans for Truth Disavow Florida Political Flyer
August 21, 2004 - Swift Boat Veterans for Truth (SBVT), a non-partisan group representing more than 250 Swift Boat veterans who served with Senator John Kerry in Vietnam, repudiates and disassociates itself from the flyer that was allegedly distributed in Florida regarding an upcoming political event. SBVT has not authorized any such rallies, communications, events or other similar political activities with any political party, candidate or other political organization. Any suggestion that SBVT coordinated the production and distribution of this flyer promoting an event, or the event itself, with a political party is false.
SBVT is an independent organization dedicated to correcting the false statements made by Senator Kerry about his service record in Vietnam and the service records of the men who served with him. SBVT acts independently from and is not affiliated with any political party – Republican, Democratic, or independent – or any candidate for public office. Only the SBVT Executive Committee, comprised of men who served on Swift Boats in Vietnam, has the authority to authorize communications on behalf of the organization or official events.

I can make a flyer in 2 minutes.
As probably did the left-winger who made the flyer in question and posted it up as "evidence".
Doesn't matter. It's all press and hopefully it represents the snowball that's becoming an avalanche.
I can just borrow the flyer someone else made in a heartbeat.
And then sent people in to photograph it.

I am "on the ground" on Gainesville and can tell you that this thing stinks to high heaven. (See my reasons in the linked post).
Good. It will take the steam out of the Kerry "co-ordination" complaints. The local Republican headquarters listed the Swiftees on their flier without prior authorization.

And CNN can't figure out why its ratings are pathetic.
I am currently doing some more digging into the situation on the ground here.
Also, I can't say for certain, but the flier itself doesn't look like any of the other materials that I have seen (or recieved) from the Alachua County GOP (different fonts and stuff like that). It just doesn't look like the material that they put out. And, the director of the Alachua County GOP, Travis Horn, is a very matter of fact guy and, I'm certain, he wouldn't put up with this kind of garbage at the GOP HQ.

The Kerry campaign is upset that fliers for their events never get this much attention!

What? You think the DU Dummies might have made up fliers and posted them in the Alachua HQ's? Such a dirty trick wouldn't be beneath them. They could have planted them and then photographed them and claimed they came from the local Republican HQs. Of course we have only their word for it they took the pictures in the Alachua GOP building.

in ANYWHERE USA, and see a poster,ad, or flyer of say: mikey
moores "movie" f911, then mikey is a kerry operative....is that close to the logic ??
It's very easy to predict what the Democrats will do, or alternatively, to tell what they have done.
Just look at what they accuse others of doing/wanting to do.
