I hope no harm will come to the man for his expression of gratitude. He could be forced to publicly recant it once he's "safely" back in Iran. I wouldn't necessarily think less of him. Despots who torture and terrorize can get people who care about their families to say just about anything. I appreciate what he said when he was free to speak what was in his heart.
And I proudly salute the crew of the USS Kennedy!
