Area activist, Kerry share Vietnam-era ties (Scott Camil) -- thread didn't get many hits back in March when posted, don't know if you all saw it.

"In an interview with The Sun, Camil acknowledged that, as a 24-year-old Marine sergeant fresh from Vietnam, he had proposed a philosophical concept of assassination. But he said the idea was just that, and was voted down at the meeting." -- wonder what philosophical concepts Camil is ok with today? Ya'll watch it down there. . .

Question for Viet Nam vets (thanks for your service) -- another article from New York Sun 3/12/04 with info on Scott Camil:

"Mr. Camil was known to colleagues in the anti-war movement as “Scott the Assassin.” Mr. Camil told The New York Sun he got the name in Vietnam for “sneaking down to the Vietnamese villages at night and killing people.”

by "killing people", is he referring to Viet Cong or collaborators? If not, is Camil admitting to committing the same atrocities kerry claimed?
