I take it he is a conservative talk show host in Philly. How do you get the word out to the moderates and liberals there?
Yes, Dom is mostly conservative. He is a very good talk show host. Been around a long time.
The local talk radio station, "The Big Talker" 1210AM, is a healthy blowtorch and is basically the only game in town for (non-sports) talk radio. So it is as effective as anything can be in the Philly area for "getting the word out" to moderates and liberals. The Philadelphia Inquirer (the only real newspaper in town) is a hopeless liberal mouthpiece for the DNC, but fortunately the New York Post is readily available at every Wawa and 7-11. The NY Post actually has a pretty good circulation in the area. It is the paper I pick up every day.
Michael Smerconish is the morning host (530 to 900). I like his show. He is conservative but he is more than fair to liberal guests and callers. Which usually means he gives them more than enough rope to hang themselves.
Glenn Beck is on from 900 to noon. He now calls Philly his home and WPHT is his flagship station.
Dom Giordano is on in the evening. I don't care too much for his show. Something about him just makes me tune out after a few segments.
