Umlaut would be a great name for a Krautrock hommage band concept I've been considering. Just keep doing Can, Amon Duul II covers until the cows come home.
It just has the Rammstein feel to it...UMLAUT!!!

Ten years ago Rush once used "Problems" by the Pistols. I was seriously rockin' at that.

Can I join that band?
I can do really creepy voices (and I know a little German - he's sitting over there *badoom-tish*)....

I want to get a wah-wah pedal and just do Can songs like the Stooges would have.
Hmmm, you gave me and idea... if Nico were singing.

I've been here since May and have often found it difficult to get responses/feedback from most of my posts. Seems as though there are a lot of "mini groups" that talk back and forth. Am confident that my inputs are worthy, but often get discouraged. Just my 2 cents. I'm sorry that people haven't posted much to you. It happens to all of us in the beginning. It just takes a little while for people to get to know you. Please accept my belated welcome to FR, and my thanks to you for serving in our military. :-)

Just post an article which 1)Questions the current evolution/natural selection orthodoxy; 2)Suggests that you support smoking bans; or, 3)Claims that your favorite barbecue restaurant is the best, and you'll have hundreds of replies. Unfortunately many of them will be contentious, or even vitriolic....

First- natural selection favors extinction of endangered species, so we must be doing something right if evolution is how we became who we are. But if wolves are better than poodles then evolution isn't the solution to our existence.
Second- I support a smoking ban in heaven.
Third- It doesn't matter where the barbecue restaurant is - just as long as they serve Zweigle's white-hots with natural casing, browned and popped and mmmm...mustard and dill relish.
How am I doing? Any response?

For example, you could make the following statement:
"There is no such thing as free will."
Then see how your posts pile up. ;)

You are giving links to your posts...but there are no numbers when you get to these links. Where do you find your number. I would like to find mine myself.
