Post #10. I don't think so. I rarely notice the screen name of the person to whom I'm writing. I respond to the posted message. Occasionally it's otherwise, but not often.
No number - maybe it's a negative number that will not display

I am sorry that you feel you don't get reponses back! Stick around, you will get to know others, and you can just join in with everyone anyway!!
And my number is.
3121
I didn't know you were a younger woman. I'm older by three years:)
9360 checking in.
I must be very old.
My original number was 7154. *Sigh*
That didn't work for me. I still can't find the number but I know I'm around #1248
LMAO...I had to go to an online dictionary to find out what you were talking about...but I do like my number
Thanks to all those who described how to find my number. Now that I have checked it, it appears that I am in the 100,000+ category.
I lurked on FR for several years before joining, and made my first post about a year ago. I love FR. I love the range of topics that are posted and commented on. FR lets me "talk" with others who are, for the most part, like-minded individuals, yet not so like-minded that we agree on everything (IMO sort of like a healthy marriage).
I think FReepers are the wittiest people on earth! Good humor abounds (most of the time) as does generosity of spirit. I feel welcomed and accepted here. It's nice to have a niche to feel like you fit in with.
Thanks to Jim Robinson and all the many other FReepers who have helped me have an outlet for some of my life's passions.
Ive posted frequently for about 6 years, and dont have many friends here. Guess Im not a good fit.
Ive written what I thought were some very insightful and balanced analysis without replies. I just took it as leaving nothing to be disagreed with. But if a little edge is inserted that lampoons on side here, a whole day can be wasted volleying back attacks on this thing. Probably not a good idea.
Lifes short. Internet friends are shorter.
Just a minute, pal-- it just so happens that 6652 is my Diner's Club Card number. Now tell me not to sweat it.
Ah, there it goes...#1214
Let him....Kerry's campaign is imploding, and it will just be a matter of time before he has a Howard Dean moment, and gives his own "I have a scream" speech.
I'm asking the same question. My faith is restored. I got a response.
That's the beauty of an internet site... screw 'em if they can't take a joke.
