Something to Yak About Kerry Flip-Flops on Korea Troops Kerry In Favor of Reducing Troops in Korea Before He Was Against It More Name Calling From Kerry Campaign Surrogate Kerry Campaign Gins Up Bogus Study, Blames Bush Do That Nike Thing Talkers Profile The Laura Ingraham Show The Final Yak
While chatting up the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention in Cincinnati Wednesday, John Kerry managed to do it again, flipping and flopping all over the issue of US troops levels in Korea. Can somebody please call the Guinness Book to see what the world record is on flip-flops? Thank you. Now read on.
John Kerry used his Wednesday VFW speech to blast the presidents plan to redeploy US troops abroad to better fight the war on terrorism. I'm particularly concerned about moving troops out of South Korea when North Korea has probably never been more dangerous than any time since the end of the Korean War," spake Kerry to the veterans. But just a couple weeks ago on ABCs This Week, Kerry said, I think we can significantly change the deployment of troops, not just there, but elsewhere in the world. In the Korean Peninsula, perhaps. In Europe, perhaps. And yes, we have that audio in MP3.
John Kerry served up another steaming heap of duplicity Wednesday when he lamented how America was soooooo divided today. Then why doesnt the nominee tell Tom Harkin to knock it off? The Iowa senator has taken to calling the vice president a coward while seeming to forget that during his own botched bid for the Democrat nomination in 1992, Harkin
misled, shall we say
the people and the media about his own military service. He told Washington Post writer David Broder that he flew missions over Vietnam when in reality he was stationed in Japan and didnt even receive the obligatory Vietnam Service medal or Vietnam Campaign medal. Of course, The Yak is happy to provide the citations for your broadcasting pleasure.
Does anyone else ever get the impression then when John Kerry isnt blaming America or the president for one thing or another, his campaign is paying people to do it for him? Seems the Kerry campaign has commissioned a study that reportedly links unemployment to health care costs and blames the president for both. Remember folks, this is the same Gang That Couldnt Spin Straight who tried to convince us that the sky high interest rates, sky high unemployment, sky high inflation and gas shortages of the Carter administration were somehow better than the economic surge of the subsequent Reagan administration. Puh-LEEEZ
While the term Just Do It is not a branding phrase for The Yak, it is a reminder that when it comes to select, prime cuts of audio and bulletproof citations of comments past and present, the Radio Services shop at the RNC is a fine resource for you and your data-hungry demos. "John Kerry's opposition to troop realignment demonstrates a backward looking view that blindly embraces the status quo and ignores the realities of the post-9/11 world. The threat America faces today is fundamentally different than the threats America's military was configured to face during the Cold War. I should know, I was commandant of the Marine Corps during the Cold War. (SOURCE: Gen. P.X. Kelley (Ret.), former commandant of the United States Marine Corps, August 18, 2004)
And it just keeps comin' and comin' and comin'.....
Heh heh heh...and kerry just keeps goin' and goin'......
