Where the f**k is Alachua County FL, and why the f**k does anyone care what a bunch of retirees do when not playing shuffleboard.
I apologize for the language, and to Aluchua County residents, but I'm sure no outside your area of Florida much cares what your county Republican reelction committee is up to. Of course, in a race to the bottom(of the nielson ratings), CNN, MSNBC, NBC, et al. willing be tripping over themselves to air this "story". Also, I belive the lover of Golan Cipel attended a Democrat fundraiser sometime in the last 10 years, where he was recruited by the CIA. About as relevant to reality.

Alachua County is just North of Gainesville in North Fla. about 60 miles south of Georgia. Remember there are two Florida's, the northern part is very conservative and the south is ...well.. it's a mess.

Gainesville, Florida.
Just a little info....
University of Florida is here. Dave Matthews will be playing here for the Kerry Magical Mystery tour. Funny thing though, UF said only US citizens can attend show. Doh! So much for being "inclusive".
Home of Kerry collaborator Scott Camil.
30 miles from SBVT Joe Ponder. We had Del Sandusky here the other night and he was freeped.
Liberal hotbed.Tree city USA gives out tickets for removing trees.
If this flier is legit, I really wish the local repubs would have thought that out better. Fuel for the fire. The flier will show up on Nov.3rd as evidence for the florida vote challenge. Watch.

First off, Alachua county is Gainesville, where the University of Florida is.
It wouldn't be a big deal, however, the Kerry campaign is trying to take this story national as evidence that there is some coordination between the Bush campaign and the Swift Boat Veterans.
I happen to be right here in Gainesville (on the front lines) and have some local intel that seems to be relevant for several reasons.
