Yeah, but the important thing is whether more people--independents and borderline Dems--are getting it.
But, if he isn't saying they're lying, then why pull the ads? This whole thing is as disjointed and convoluted as John Kerry's campaign. The wheels are coming off, folks.

The initial Swift Boat ad was a limited buy in a few swing state markets. All the media attention has magnified that spot money more than any other limited run political commercial that I can recall. The problem that the MSM faces is that they have two primary modes of operation - ignore or attack. But the alternative media no longer allows them to ignore the issues, and if they attack it, it gives it far more attention.
Of course, it also helps to have a campaign staff with an unerring ability to shoot themselves in the foot.
