CNN is reporting Friday afternoon that the Kerry campaign will file a complaint with the FEC.Wolf Blitzer reported that the campaign will allege that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth are illegally coordinating their efforts with the Bush-Cheney campaign.
The complaint reportedly demands that the Swiftvets immediately suspend broadcasts of commericals attacking John Kerry's Vietnam War record and return any moneys raised in conjunction with the ad campaign.
The complaint is an extension of Sen. Kerry's charge on Thursday that the Swiftvets are a "front group" for the Bush Cheney campaign, alleging that the group has broken campaign laws by coordinating their efforts with the White House.
John O'Neill, author of the book "Unfit for Command," which details the charges described in the anti-Kerry commercials, said Friday that he had no connection with the White House, adding that his group wouldn't suspend the ads even if the White House asked them too.
"This isn't his fight," O'Neill told radio host Sean Hannity. "This is between the veterans who served in Vietnam and John Kerry."
Do it. I just did and they need your support. Donate to the Swiftees!
Freakazoid
The DNC is trying to say that, because the Swifties used a consultant group that worked with Republicans a few years ago...that their is a direct link. HMMMM, So that means that since Bank of America, Dell, IBM, Radio Shack (Tandy, and Washington Mutual used the same consultant company for some work...that they are working together. And we know that's not happening.
Its all part of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy
For all who need to see the ad, email the ad, etc:

Thanks to Kerry this story has more legs now than the Radio City Rockettes.
- LMHO!
I don't see why Kerry doesn't just go for broke and hold a press conference declaring that no one in America had better dare purchase ONeill's "Unfit For Command" or watch any of the Swift Boat commercials.
He went to the University of Texas Law School, and graduated first in a class of 554 with the third highest score in its history.
Read this.
Exactly. They "brought it" and Kerry's flinching.
On that Thurlow matter....
I heard Thurlow pointed out yesterday that the the report for being under fire was based on a report from JOHN KERRY.
Thurlow pointed out that he has always contended that there was no enemy fire and that he did not know about the report part of it. He thought he got the medal for helping out the other boat guys.
Does Anybody know anything about this?
---If this is not stopped NOW, Kerry and Company know the drumbeat to release ALL of his records will grow louder. If he does that and is proven a liar, he's toast this election and for ever more. If this is not stopped now, the discussion will turn to Kerry's shameful, treasonous activity after his return.---
Perhaps the press would like to cover the thousands of citizens taking to the street to defend their First Amendment rights against the assault from the Kerry campaign and the Democratic party.
All you're politics are belong to us! :)
ha!
WOW!!!
There is one VERY simple way to prove these SBV claims are libelous...open up all Kerry's records to the public. Interesting that they aren't taking that tack -- but then we'd know the claims are true. As we do now because of all the cloaking.
And anyway, what it moveon.org if not a front organization for the DNC??
From my limited reading of Kerry & his supporters, they are not challenging the facts, merely making wild accusations as to who is behind it. Very stupid arguments that only someone, such as New York Times or Chris Matthews in a steroid rage, would go ballistic over.
Just sent 'em $10.00 If kerry's goons try more, I'll send more.
"...Chris Matthews in a steroid rage, ..."
Yikes. If looking like Chrissy Fatboy is what happens when steroids are taken....I can understand why the International Olympic Comm. officials are so against it.
In this political climate, the best they can do is file something with the 9th Circuit and wait a few moments for their desired results.
Not so fast! They'll just, well, move on....
Remember that to the Dims, it's all just a TV show. Their attitude is that everybody lies, so they might as well do it, too.
And CNN had a story a couple of weeks ago about a MoveOn.org person going to work as a Kerry consultant. Bush said let's get rid of the 527 organizations ... but Kerry thought he had hit pay dirt with Soro's $12 million donation to MoveOn.
