To: Tax Government

A Kerry spokesman today characterized "Unfit for Command" as a pack of lies, or something like that, while calling for bookstores not to sell it. I think:
a.) The Swiftboat Veterans should institute a libel suit against the Kerry spokesperson, ask for a speedy trial, and as part of the discovery process supeona Kerry's military records; and
b.) File suit for restraint of trade - the Kerry camp is using lies to financially harm the publisher.

That's right. The authors should sue Kerry for interfering with the book.

If Kerry believes the book is false, he should sue for libel. To succeed, he would need to present proof of his own -- the sealed records.
