McCain-Feingold has stifled political speech in this country. Both parties will find loopholes to get around these stupid laws. All we need is full disclosure of who is funding what and let the chips fall where they may. The SBVFT have been operating on a shoestring. The reason their ads are so effective is the messagem not the amount of money to make and air them.
Recall Nino's dissent in the recent McCain-Feingold decision - to paraphrase, "They got around these laws in the past and they'll get around this one." What's galling is, as with most "law" the Dems are only for enforcement when it suits their ends - just like ole Lenin himself.
