Tucker Carlson just said that CNN has been notified that the Kerry camp will seek to have the goverment pull the Swift Boat veterans for Truth ads.

I just heard Bob Kur on MSNBC report that the Kerry Kamp was filing a complaint with the FEC charging the Bush campaign with illegally conspiring with the Swift Vets.
Dog, after these last two days, I am convinced there is something REALLY bad in those records of his -- and he knows he's going to have to eventually release them.
He's gone nuclear for some reason.
And he's on record trying to stop any criticims of him with the power of the federal government.
What would happen is he is POTUS and somebody says something about him?
First, the Democrats try to disenfranchise veterans and military personnel in 2000 by throwing out their absentee ballots.
Now, in 2004, they try to deny veterans their right to free speech!
I know you know the operative word there...
Don't know if I'd say I'm "frightened", but after the success of CFR I'm not willing to bet the FEC won't bend over for Effin. Remember, laws and rules only apply to Republicans.
Now, the Christmas in Cambodia story is back in play -- after Brinkley said it didn't happen.
WHAT'S GOING ON HERE.
If they think they can confuse the issue and change the direction of the American public, the dems once again are wrong.
They do not believe in the Constitution. They call it a "living document" (as they murder the unborn). So, expect them to control the "free speech" they want you to hear. The argument will go like this: speech is speech and should be free. But this is a TV ad and it must be taken off the air.......
I doubt that they can -- it would hand yet another First Amendment issue to Bush.
I'm really interested to see what "ties" they're claiming between Bush/RNC and the Swifties -- unless they can demonstrate that the Bush campaign is financing, advising, and providing manpower, there's nothing there.
I seriously doubt they can prove such ties -- which means an injunction probably isn't in the cards.
To echo the others on this thread:
How stoooopid can you get?
Thanks for the info.
On this point:
"If they try to change the focus and wait it out two weeks, the swifties can no longer air their ads by law."
For real? Only the campaigns can then run ads?
This dork Kerry lost his cool and accused the President and his campaign of violating CFR. He painted himself into a corner in which he had no other choice but to file a frivolous complaint. What a chump.
Farenheit 451. That is too ironic.
FYI, I was awaiting my Swift book from B&N here in Scottsdale which was supposedly gonna be in on 8/16 but evidently they didn't get enough so now I'm awaiting a new shipment in a couple of days. The clerk told me they had a waiting list and the book was on its fourth printing already. I expected the usual liberal book-seller disdain, but instead she seemed kinda awed and amazed.
Gives me hope, after all.
I heard it's only a complaint.
Wow, that IS a big pussy!
I'm impressed
This means it is impacting them HARD.
Internal polls must be looking like shit.
Good.
Kerry is a self proclaimed traitor and war criminal.
He IS unfit for anything but a court martial.
"Shoulda been done long ago... " -- Neil Young from: "four dead in OHIO.
Remember, you have already lost the arguement if you compare him to Hitler!
Typical...he runs to the feds now...just like his game plan is to run to the U.N. later. I bet the poodle's favorite saying growing up ended with "...take my ball and go home!!"
Cry me a river Kerry, just go back under your rock when you're done...
