When Kerry was always talking about his Vietnam service and making it the cornerstone of his campaign, I said it would come back to haunt him. I figured it would be because it would remind people of when he came back to the USA as an anti-war traitor but it's turning out to be the scrutiny of his military record, or shall we say non-record, that is now hurting him. Of course he doesn't want to make his senate record (the most liberal in the senate) the cornerstone of his campaign because who would want mainstream America to know that they are to the left of Ted Kennedy and Hilary Clinton? This guy is a weak candidate, remember he was way behind Howard Dean for a long time and there are reasons for that and now they are coming to the forefront. And George Bush is no Howard Dean, he's proven over and over again that he can take on anybody and beat 'em. And he doesn't even have the liberal media 100% on his side like Kerry does (doesn't need 'em, either).

That advertisement hits what I have been posting about. It's the core of why Kerry is unfit for president. Or Senator, or any other of our public offices.

Kerry has "mistakenly" done a good thing. He has given the Vietnam Vets the chance to regain their honor. Honor they lost directly because of what John Kerry did 30 years ago.

Why did Kerry pick and scratch open the scab that had grown over the Vietnam wound? A wound that Kerry made with this slander and libel in his oral testimony which became part of the public record:

KERRY: American soldiers "had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country".

I don't know why Kerry brought Vietnam up. All I know is that now the Vietnam Vets have the opportunity to clear their names. An opportunity they may have never had. At least those still living. Imagine all those Vietnam Vets that came back and then were spat on because of Kerry's words. Kerry's Scarlet Letter he pressed upon them. And many vietnam Vets died with that shame on them!

Kerry deserves what he's about to get.

We need a better person for these shows.
