The beauty of this ad is that it CANNOT be refuted. Its not a question of two conflicting accounts where you can come down on one side or the other. The central figure in this ad is Kerry himself saying things for posterity he probably wishes he never said. At the time it sure seemed like a good idea. I just love watching that poseur hoist on his own anti-American petard. Now he'll have to explain why he dishonored America's fighting men more than 30 odd years ago to a national audience. That's what make this ad so devastating is it puts the lie to the notion Kerry backed his fellow veterans after he came home from Vietnam. This is what they call a "home-run" ad!

the libs act shocked on TV when Swifties say that Kerry's words 30 years ago are what motivate these men. Rather than believe/admit this, they focus on the fact that some Republican donated 200K to this effort. What did they expect, a Dean Democrat to give big bucks to this????

Grrrreeeeaaaaatttt ad! I love the way they use JfnK's own face and own snooty words all through out with the hero POW's faces and words interposed in the foreground.

"The central figure in this ad is Kerry himself saying things for posterity he probably wishes he never said."

B.S. Kerry knew what he was saying, (in the abstract) knew who he was hurting, knew who he was aiding and abeting, knew who he was abandoning, knew who he was hurting.

He disgraced his uniform, his country and his fellow servicemen. And he violated his oath as an officer of the U.S. military.

He Knew!
