Kerry is so screwed! Yes, this POS is going down.
To: savedbygrace
There is only one POW who is allowed to speak for all POW's and his name is John McCainiac.

I listened to the ad (couldn't see the video on this computer). After listening to it, I cannot see how Kerry can continue to be the nominee. The only thing I could think of that would be worse is if someone had proof he was in cahoots with Saddam or bin Laden.
For those who can't hear it, it uses the words of Kerry's testimony in front of Fulbright interspersed with comments from POW's. The line I remember was something like this:
"John Kerry gave them for free what I took torture forbecause I refused to say it." (Talking about war crimes.)
That was a paraphrase and I am sure it was much more powerful, but you get the idea. Devastating ad. It should run in all 50 states.
To: Williams
This is by far the most devestating political ad I have ever seen.
I would urge everyone here to contribute to the SwiftVets so they can buy airtime.

Holy crap. This may be the single most devastating TV ad in political history
Kind of makes Johnson's nuclear war ad look like kid's play. Too true. Just hope that it gets lots of airplay.

For the life of me, I can't imagine how the Democratic Party ever let Kerry get within a million miles of a spot on a primary ballot. What the hell were they thinking? It's just nuts, isn't it? They've been getting away with lies, deception and vicious attacks for years, so I guess this time they were a little too full of themselves. I dunno.
Then again, I don't believe this is the end of Kerry.

When Bush wins, these ads will go down in history as some of the most effective political ads ever. And not even run by the candidates.
I get a laugh comparing this 527 ad to the lame Children working on assembly lines ad that MoveOn.org put out. I remember the media calling that silly bit of fluff devastating! to Bush.
Now they know what a devastating ad really looks like.

Do you think they will even have the balls to suggest these men were paid off or bought? The Swifties were paid off with 200,000 to be spread among over 250 men. That is what they get PLUS being smeared.
however, when Soros spends 7 BILLION it is all honest and not paid off to lie for kerry.... I see how that works.

Nothing but an ad for the book, I think maybe this thread should be pulled.
To: abnegation
Yes... its John F*ckin's infamous April 22, 1971 testimony to the U.S Senate Foreign Relations Committee. There's no way Kerry's flacks can spin this one since he was nailed defaming our troops in Vietnam. A shameful performance for which incidentally, he has never apologized. Its a good day when what goes around comes back in spades.

Also weird "Jhen-jhis" pronounciation! LOL! I noticed that too. He has such a priggish, pretentious boarding school accent too.
It reminds me of Rush saying "shhheduled." 8-)
