This is Michelle's account of her appearance on Hardball last night. I saw the Hardball show last night, and her account is exactly as the events transpired. She's not embellishing--she's not doing a Kerry or a Matthews. Of course, she's not a Democrat so she holds herself to a higher standard.

My psychologist friend says to always watch (in a heated discussion) who does the most talking (and the loudest). That's the one who's losing the argument or who has the least substance to back up his/her point. After this particular display of yelling...not to mention the one between Carville and O'Neill a few days ago...my friend's observation seems to bear out.

My e-mail to Matthews -

Great show tonight, Chris. Michelle made you look especially pathetic. Can I have permission to post a picture of you drooling?

Thanks

"Well, guess what? This foaming jerk Matthews, who called me irresponsible and kicked me off the show admitted that a) he himself had not read the damned book,..."

That is where he is making the biggest mistake. The book is so well documented that it is indisputable.

They can attempt to destroy the messengers, but the book is absolutely airtight.

I thought Michelle was awesome and it was clear that Matthews wanted to take up the time with his silly repetitive questions rather than moving on to the real question of Kerry's absolute lies in his after action reports.

Even the band of bandaid brothers are now acknowledging that Kerry's boat was the ONLY one that rushed away from the explosion that rocked the other boat.

Matthews is terrified of the truth.

I saw the interview, too. (I almost never watch Chrissy - but I wanted to see Michelle) Anyway - Chrissy made me absolutely sick. I almost threw my glass of water at the TV set. He was totally out of control.

It's difficult to take Matthews seriously about anything. A while back, I heard him tell some guest whose name I can't remember that he shouldn't mention JFK's record regarding tax cuts because of his assassination. I nearly choked in disbelief. "So what does JFK being murdered have to do with the subject of tax cuts" I yelled at the screen. Matthews is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

//my email to MSNBC

Your “interview” with Michelle Malkin last night was a travesty. I am a Reagan Republican, but I always enjoyed watching Chris Mathews because he seemed to take up both sides of an issue with fairness and honor. But I have noticed recent behavior by him and your network that indicate those days are over. The tipping point came last night, when Mathews put words in Malkin’s mouth and then attacked the strawman he had made – Malkin said there is suspicion that Kerry’s wounds were self-inflicted, shrapnel from shooting off a grenade to close to rocks – she NEVER said or implied Kerry “shot himself”. I am a former Marine – I am quite aware of the difference.

I can only assume that, like CNN and the NYT, MSNBC is in the tank. It is unfortunate that your “investigative” journalists have failed to discover the details behind Kerry’s story and that you would so blatantly try to spike the story by knocking down strawman arguments. Your treatment of Malkin was also a disgrace. Be advised that, in the day of programmable TV remotes, Pravda-like stations like yours can easily be tossed into obscurity.

I’m removing your station from my household today. I have not yet determined if Kerry is the Fraud that the swiftboat vets claim, but I’m now certain that you are.

I just sent the note below to "hardball@msnbc.com" To All, I happened to watch last night’s Hardball show on your channel. I am one of those seemingly rare individuals who have not yet made up their mind with respect to the upcoming general election. As such, I am trying to gather as much information as I can before November; your show seemed a good bet for last night. I’ve seen a great deal of press regarding this “swift boat” affair and the reactions of the other veterans who were there (I too am a vet of the same era, so perhaps the information is closer to me than to others). At any rate: what I witnessed from both Mr. Matthews and Mr. Olbermann regarding their interviewee (Ms. Michelle Malkin) was nothing short of ridiculous. I cannot ever remember watching such an unprofessional, schoolyard, bullying, and downright stupid process – and on the air no less – and from “professionals” who had not even taken the time and courtesy to read the book in question. While I am still going to try to gather information, your two jackasses have gone a very long way in demonstrating, by their example, what it means to be a supporter of the current candidate for the Democratic party. I do not want to be associated with them, or this show, in the future. Please understand that, at least in my home, this show will no longer be permitted. And in a sort of backhanded way; thanks for helping me make up my mind about this coming November. One less “undecided” voter, Suggest you may want to write them a short note as well.

Thanks, Michelle, for hangin' in!

Michelle, I hope you see this thread. You did an impressive damn job on the show (which should be called 'Through the Looking Glass, Darkly'). Fabulous!

But this article absolutely slams it out of the park.

You don't seem like the type who is going to back off or quit, but I gotta say it:

Keep it up, never tire, never falter. The heaviest flak is directly over the target.

I don't know why I put myself through it (maybe its because I've got an open mind, unlike Liberals) but I watched the whole show last night.

What a travesty of bullying partisanship on Khris's part! I agree with the comments in Michelle's column wholeheartedly.

One last thing that she missed........................

***Are you reading this Michelle?***

While Michelle and Wille Brown were getting into it, Willie made a comment about getting shot in ALABAMA.

Germane to the argument at the time? No way!

Race Card? You bet!

You go girl!

Way to go Michelle. The more I read about Skerry one thing stands out to me. Skerry is LAZY. He just wants to be a presidential figurehead, he doesn't want to do the work.
