The Kerry campaign has told Salon that the publisher of "Unfit for Command," the book that is at the center of the attack on Kerry's military record by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, is retailing a hoax and should consider withdrawing it from bookstores. "No publisher should want to be selling books with proven falsehoods in them, especially falsehoods that are meant to smear the military service of an American veteran," said Kerry campaign spokesman Chad Clanton. "If I were them, I'd be ducking under my desk wondering what to do. This is a serious problem."

Even some uncomfortable Republicans might breathe a sigh a relief if "Unfit for Command" were to vanish from bookstores: "I don't think the Swift Boat Veterans are helping the Republican cause," Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Conn., remarked on CNN Thursday.

"They have gone completely bananas."

I love it, beaversmom. They're in full panic mode and so are their friends and co-campaigners in the media. DNC lawyers making hollow threats of litigation to the SBVs and now the Kerry campaign makes an equally impotent call for Regnery to take the book off the market.

If Kerry were innocent of their charges, he could silence them in one day by simply authorizing the release of his full military service record.

That's it. That's all he'd have to do. People are starting to notice that he's not doing this and they are asking, "Why?"

I will try to bring this up tomorrow when I attend the send off party for our Nevada delegation to the republican national convention.

Perhaps several more of us should try to speak with the delegates and ask them to please demand that Bush/our party get the guts to point out the sKerry/DNC/Moore hypocrisy?

Where to start on this. If you think these allegations are lies than sue, come on, I'm waiting, sue them and prove it. If you can't shut up. Oh and I don't see you being overly concerned with smearing veterans that don't agree with Kerry, I guess thats ok. Oh the hypocracy is suffacating.

Kerry campaign spokesman Chad Clanton. "If I were them, I'd be ducking under my desk wondering what to do. This is a serious problem."

Oh I suspect it is actually the Kerry campaign that is ducking under their desk wondering what to do, peeking out every once in a while to scream "bring it on" before scurrying for cover again and whining about how mean the Republicans are. If you can't run with the big dogs....

BTW, have you ever seen such a gay walk as Kerry gave while walking on the Malibu Beach during his visit to California last week? Makes you wonder if Kerry will pull a "McGreevey" and come out of the closet if he wins the Presidency.

Well, Chad, how about trying to prove the accusations wrong by releasing Kerry's records before calling for the book's removal from bookstores? Or better yet, why not take the Swift Vets to court?

Very good idea, they might threaten to take them to court but I doubt they would even go that far. Now if the Swift Vets threatened to sue Kerry. Also Kerry could release all his records but I do not think he will do that either. It is starting to look like a chess game.

Well I think the solution would be for the swiftvets to just release the whole book on the internet...that would solve the distribution problem, and ensure that enough people could read it before the elections. I'd like to see the Kerry campaign try to sue the internet.

Well then, the Dems should sue for libel. No problem. He he.

I remember seeing him during a debate on the floor about ANWR drilling. He acted as though he was about to cry when he said if we allowed the drilling the world would likely cease to exist.

I don't know what to make of his mannerisms. I have no solid reason to think he's gay.

But, certainly a lot of the puppet master groups are into orgies of every type.

Camp David personnel complained about SHRILLERY'S lesbo orgies.

I have not lived a spotless life either. But I do try and admit when I've blown it big instead of blowing the story up like the hot air balloon it is and then pretending it's solid gold patriotism! SHEESH! TRAITOROUS IDIOT.

Trouble is, he thinks the rest of us are so much idiots like him that we'll be fooled. And too many sheeple are!

Would it be okay if the Swift Boat Veterans are helping the American cause?

Sorry, Chad baby. This is America. Want the books removed? Buy one and tell your friends to do likewise. That'll work.

Excellent idea. But it should be put on the internet only after the back orders are filled.
