Enviro(wacko)s Blame Bush for WTC Health Hazards

The Sierra Club this week attacked the President for supposedly showing "reckless disregard" by failing to warn the public of alleged health risks posed by "toxic" smoke from the World Trade Center rubble.

"The desire to reopen Wall Street cannot justify placing civilian safety at risk," asserted the Sierra Club.

Now there's no question that lower Manhattan residents were exposed to varying levels of smoke, dust and fumes — including asbestos, mineral fibers and a soup of chemicals — as a result of the WTC collapse on and after Sept. 11.

There's also no question that some residents developed new, or exacerbated existing, respiratory-system health effects as a result of those exposures.

But the data mustered by the Sierra Club, in its effort to demonstrate that the Bush administration acted with "reckless disregard" of the public health after the Sept. 11 attacks, doesn't come close to supporting that serious charge.

Shouldn't they be blaming Al Queda instead of President Bush? Call the health consequences collateral damage....... kinda like a dirty bomb in Manhattan. What a load of crap. Environmentalists are terrorists also because they lend creedence to the same causes that seek to remove President Bush from office and destroy the American Way.

Somebody needs to clue these idiots in to the fact that President Bush just removed from power the creator of the BIGGEST ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTER OF ALL TIME...SADDAM. When he torched the oil wells in the first Gulf war, it created the largest environmental disaster EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So let their stoopid EarthJustice litigation brigade sue Osama's Momma!!! The ignorant hair-brained Capitalism/America/Human hating Sierra Flub THUGS!!!

It hurt more than just the lungs of those forced to jump you brainless bastards!!!

Just the other night we endured an entire thread of someone trying to slap a super guilt-trip on FReepers for making harsh comments about the Pearl family and the leftist-loaded board of their foundation when they smacked Dick Cheney down for bringing their son's name up as a victim of terrorism. The massive terrorism of 9-11 I do NOT see or hear the Sierra Flub condemning... NOW WHY NOT???

Are they secretly in league with them in hating America and all it stands for??? There! I made another well thought-out HARSH STATEMENT for all the world to see! Is that an embarrassment of some type to some FReepers??? If so, you've got me confused with someone who doesn't give a hoot!!! Sorry.

"Now there's no question that lower Manhattan residents were exposed to varying levels of smoke, dust and fumes — including asbestos, mineral fibers and a soup of chemicals — as a result of the WTC collapse on and after Sept. 11."

That is the most asinine statement ever from a reportedly responsible group ever recorded! What in the name of heaven did anyone expect from an attack that leveled buildings full of all sorts of materials crashing down on hundreds of people and wind carrying that cloud of debris for miles – what did the Sierra Club think should be done; vacuum the air for days and weeks on end, not allow any of the clean up; keep people out of their homes for miles around until some nits at the Sierra Club could declare lower Manhattan smoke, dust and gas free? What was once the Twin Towers burned for weeks and the wind carried the fumes for miles. The President didn’t show "reckless disregard”, he did what the people needed him to do – he led. We were attacked and our President led with a calm courage that few have shown during such a disaster.

The Sierra Club is trying to find something, anything, to make this President look bad – how quickly they have forgotten that the attack on America that fateful day was-not-just-about-them it was about shutting this country down and this President did not allow that to happen because of his Leadership and that of the brave New York firemen, policemen and citizens – they all put their shoulders to the task of removing tons and tons of debris and did it with valor and patriotism. Shame on the Sierra Club for trying to start another self-serving crisis.

Well... If you'll remember... The entire time of the Bush Presidency, prior to 9-11... There was a building cresendo of attacks on President Bush from this malevolent bunch of maligners of reality!!!

Just like all the Demonicrats and their sychophant organizations, they felt burned to the ground by being forced to "clam up" after 9-11 with their tired tirades of torment aimed at weakening America's economic progress!!!

Both they and the terrorists are obsessed with a seething hatred of America's success and are both committed to "Bring It All Down... Man!" (Berkeley Hippie Protestor from the 1960's) The terrorists use our own fully loaded planes and the SC uses our own fully loaded court system!!!

So what's the difference???
