Didn't used to be. I remember a Democrat party that was real people. (Ok I was young) A handshake meant something, and a man's word was just as good. I grew up in a Democrat world, from a long line of Democrat people. My people loved their country, worked their asses off to make a life, didn't hurt or betray anyone, and didn't expect anyone to do anything for them. They wore the uniform (in every war since landing at Ellis Island). They were proud Democrats and proud Americans. Something went terribly wrong somewhere down the line.
