The NON-electrical version of that sucker is what I'm looking for in the boxes in the basement. Once I've found it, the boxes are going out. I haven't wanted or needed anything in them in 9 years. That old timey toaster is the only thing I can remember and I want it. It was the only way I could toast a slice of bread in my first apt., and that was in the early 70's. I forget who gave the thing to me but it sure predated me by a LOT of years.

And it only toasted (more correctly, burned) two pieces of bread at a time, on a gas stove. What did people do who had an electric stove? Tossed the thing out, I'm sure!
