You will drive in stop-and-go traffic across the land, hopefully in many battleground states, with the book cover just large enough to be showing Kerry's hopelessly botoxed-yet-still-wrinkled face, with the big statement "UNFIT FOR COMMAND".
People, listen up. Our intent is to reach hundreds of thousands of Americans in the middle, Americans not decided yet, who may have heard vagulely about such a book and who normally don't follow news as closely as we do, or have had their news filtered by the mainline media.
This will be the perfect, topical, current and mobile ANTI-KERRY mini poster and PRO-SWIFT VETS book promotional vehicle. It may well also create doubt among the wavering voter. It will certainly cause interest.
Think of the many American motorists who will ponder to themselves:
"Hmm. What's that on that car? Looks like a book cover. Looks like Kerry. It is. Hmmmm. "Unfit...for...Command"...I wonder if that is that book I heard something about? Hmm, maybe I'll have to buy it, too." This is the target.
This will be a quick, simple, THOUGHT-PROVOKING anti-Kerry political message at the grassroots to create even more name identification for this issue and awareness about this great and vital book.
What I have already started doing is taking with me and reading it in public places. Sometimes it takes me up to thirty minutes to drink a coke while I am sitting at a counter in a gas station.
People are liable to think you're advertising that you're an "unfit" parent...LOL
Hey AIT,
Let me tell you what I did... A week ago while driving to work, there was a car with a rear window sticker that said "IMPEACH BUSH". Another one on the rear window said, "Clinton Lied, Nobody Died. Bush Lied, Thousands Died." Then on the bumper, it had a "Kerry/Edwards '04" sticker. Well, that car turned off to a business not far from my worksite. This morning, I took a color printout of the "UNFIT" book cover and did alittle recon work. I found that same car parked in a parking lot at that business not far from mine, and I stuck the printout under their windshield wiper. They won't be happy with what they find, but if they feel obliged to spread their message for all behind them to see, I don't see why I can't impose on them an opposing message.
By the way, AiT, I hope you liked the website with the bird in Australia. They had some complementary things to say about its looks...
