I'm sorry but you are very wrong. There was absolutely zero chance of Keyes winning this election, except maybe if Obama was caught with a dead girl or a live boy, and even then it was iffy. Illinois unfortunately is a moderate leaning liberal state, that can be persuaded to vote Republican, but needs to have a reasoned voice.

And although I wholeheartedly agree with Amb. Keyes on many issues, I personally can't stand to hear him speak. It's almost like fingenails on a chalkboard, or worse Al Gore, since he sounds to me like he is talking down to us. Despite this, I would have voted for him, but this reparations business, and no matter how much the Keyes kool-aid drinkers would like to spin it this is reparations, leaves me either voting Libertarian or leaving the Senate race blank.

What you think about Alan's speaking style is an irrelevancy. Grow up.

Such arguments are akin to those who dis GW because he makes an occasional verbal gaffe.

And to vote libertarian or not vote would be a deriliction of duty on your part.

Just suck it up and say, "Okay, big deal, I disagree with the guy on one issue."
