I can't remember whether it was a cadaver dog, or just a "living person" scent dog, which was interested in the boat. I think it was the dog Trimble--which kind of dog is Trimble?
This information came out during the preliminary, b/c along with the preliminary hearing, they also had a hearing on the admissibility of the dog tracking evidence. There was a report by the dog's trainer that was made available to the public.
They said that the dog expressed great interest in the side of the boat, and also in some boxes which were under a bench in Scott's warehouse. But the dog did not quite reach the point where it went into the "hit" position.

Yea I would be interested in the prelim stuff just to see if that interpretation of the dogs (dont know which kind) could have been meant for the pliers or possibly Snott brushed up against the side of the boat. Will look at it tomorrow as I wont be up too much longer. You sure have an excellent grasp of the facts.....way to go

I heard him on the tapes bring up to Amber on how the progress was going to find the pics of them and Amber confirmed Saki had them and that she would return them...something to that effect. Scott said good, ok or something close to that in return.
LOL Well we know how that panned out Sake sold them to the NE.
I think Scott was keeping Amber in his life to tie up loose ends, because all the times she brought up our lives together he changed the subject or was evasive.
Amber had knowledge and material things that Scott needed to get rid of before to much came out in the media on the case, he never expected HOW MUCH media this case would get.
Hs life literally blew up in his face on National TV. His world crumbled like an afternoon soap opera con/villian whose contract expires.
The amazing thing is he is and will have so many woman (mentally instable however) writing him to jockey in place to be his next lover. Some to put money on his books, some to do his legal footwork ect.
Scott will be in a cage but he will continue his life as a cad/con no good SOB.
If I am right I believe the fertilizer the cookers use is a liqued/nitrogen stored in tanks.
Up here in Oregon the farms and Companies that sell it store it in units like gas for home use is stored.
The vavles up here are tapped into and put into containers they can carry off.
Hits were getting so common that steps had to be taked to put an end to the syphoning off of the storage tanks.
So from what I know it is that kind of fertilizer that they use not a solid form.
Remember the fertilizer he was promoting to farmers was not selling well because it was spendier than what most of the locals had been using for years.
He had to use a salesmans pitch about the Global context of how wonderful his Company he represents ect. ect.
In other words he had to be an amazing B.S. Salesman to get locals to pay more for his fertilizer.
Didn't sound like anyone was interested.
I wonder if he had to use part of the money from the profits of the Hamburger Shack to "buy" into the company. Yet never moved the product.
That money came from the Country Club paying Scott to give up his membership and never show his face at the club again.
I left Cali 15 yrs ago and they had started changing punishments for meth cooks and dealers, remember three strikes.
Creeps into making that poison left to other parts of the country that had never dealt with this problem so punishment was and is probation and they go right back to cooking.
It is bad up here in Oregon in the last few years epidemic. Well we have funding and laws that are supporting the inter narcotic agencies and labs are being taken down at an alarming rate. Homes are being sealed up indefinetly due to the cost of clean up for the home owner.
Just last week a cook house was take down and unbeknownst to the landlord who happen to be a Deputy who rented homes out on the side but never checked the properties, obviously.
We had a summit over the summer and everyone is intent on kicking the cooks, tweekers/thiefs out of our area.
All the stores and citizens have info and lists of products that if they notice being bought in large quantities to call LINK.
My vendor did not fill one of my supplies so I had to go and buy a case of Hydrogen Peroxide I use it to clean appliances that are going into the body and clean stoma sites ect, anyways I said to the cashier "I hope this doesn't send off bells and whistles buying this much" (no it was not on the list just odd for someone to buy so much which is suppose to be called in). The cashier laughed and said "I think we all know around here what it would before you having Chris to care for" aka duh OP no need to explain the obvious.

Amazing isn't it how hindsight is.
There's some good stuff in there. Those who worry about the wiretaps now need to go back and read about how all the major issues regarding the legality of the wiretaps have already been brought up. It's over--unless/until there is an appeal.

As for ANY women who would have anything to do with prisoners (I'll make a reluctant exception for those who knew the guy b/f he went to prison), they should be euthanized for their own good! Okay, that's a bit harsh... how about, they should be institutionalized for their own safety and for the good of society?
I begin to think that that WAS all Scott was doing: trying to keep Amber on his side. And I noticed how much interest he had in her daughter, and at first I really thought he was some sort of sicko who was attracted to her, but I am beginning instead to agree with the other theory on that: that he was just pretending to think little kids are "neat" so that he would not look like someone who would kill a defenseless baby.
Oceanperch has made a good point here about "where was Scott getting the money", Searching. I'd forgotten that the Country Club bought his $30,000 membership back from him in about January, 2003.
Although mommy and daddy had paid for most of it, I don't imagine they asked for the money back. So he had that cash in early 2003.
I had no idea they used fertilizer to make meth so when I heard Scott was selling it I thought BINGO ! He sure didnt seem the type to go off selling to farmers as he often "cut his hands" but rather one who would sell anything to anyone just to get ahead. Our past Sheriff who is now in the clinker is Ron Brown (you asked me before) and now one of our local deputies is up on 140+ felonies. He was a dare cop put in the school but he wound up meeting a few girls, gave them coke and meth and engaged in prostition as well as all kinds of other things. Now who can you trust ? No smog or traffic here so it beats most places hands down wouldnt you agree ?
good point, then I still can't understand why Laci had to pawn her GMs jewelry if he had that unless his money was now his and hers was hers since she had an inheritance coming.
since this happened in Jan after Laci was missing could be one reason she was selling her stuff, at that time they didnt have this $$$ (to answer my own question)...gotta run bbl
