SOS!!!! I do not have the June 3/4 transcripts of the trial of Amy's direct, cross and redirect..
A poster on CTV is quoting Amy on cross from Geragos as saying "yes" when asked if she thought she had found the complete outfit on the Feb 18th search of Scott's house that Laci was wearing on the 23rd at the salon...except for the jacket
I had never seen that another pair of light pants were found..I know Amy did not identify the pants (new) or in a picture as the ones she had on in the salon..Similar is what she said.If anyone has that clarified in redirect,perhaps..I would be grateful.

I needed the admission she had thought she found the pants (complete outfit was the quote) in the house search (cross exam) and any redirect that clears that up..
.Did she think she found Laci's pants that she wore to the salon ?Was the impression left that the suspicion that Laci was killed when undressing for bed has no validity?(shirt photographed in hamper..found during the search balled up in a drawer....Laci washed up in "stone colored" pants and a bra.)

Perfect. If they can match the sound in the background, too, they can show that a song (perhaps a song Laci loved?) at the vigil was the one that prompted Scott to tell Amber that they were playing American pop songs at the Eiffel Tower. Nothing shows coldness like a man who can't be moved by his missing wife's favorite song.
That was Scott's perception of the trip while realistically everyone thought he (Scott) was such a loser they didnt want to be around him. There are so many closer bodies of water to test out a boat and the day he did go was cold so who would go out of their way to drive 90 miles and freeze their butt off while he could have just put it in a nearby river and been home comforting his pregnant wife.
One of the attorneys this morning was using the fact that Amber never came forward until the reward money was offered. sigh.
The thing I find amazing is that the emphasis is put on his denials of guilt in Laci's disappearance but the recognition that he lies consistently is ignored. He says I can't talk about that. I can't tell you now, he's protecting everyone...? He can be trusted to tell the truth when he denies involvement?..I don't think so!
Neenah and all--I'm not sure it's going to make any difference what kind of mud they try to toss at Amber. The fact of what he said on those tapes remains. Even if she was a perfectly awful person, guilty of all kinds of thing--he still said what he said! She did not--could not if she'd wanted to--force him to say anything. She wasn't in the same room, so she couldn't have held a gun to his head, after all!
