It sounds like Spirit is a pretty good climber too ... crawling up 35% slopes and all... and they ain't done yet.
The Rovers' life expectancy was about three months. They are going on eight months now and still doing good work.
We had a series of failures in the Mars probe series. But the Rovers have been a great success.
