From reading the Boston Globe article on Kerry's Christmas Eve activity, it looks like he deliberately took his boat several miles into Cambodia, even though he knew it was off limits. He then claims to have sent his superiors a sarcastic message about going into Cambodia. Lord knows if any message of this type was ever sent, but it's obvious that he was daring them to court-martial him. Then, to cover up his repeated acts of insubordination, and to further his political career, he creates tall tales of being ordered on covert missions into Cambodia with the CIA. Anything to make him look the hero. Pathetic.

The more I read about his arrogance, the more I despise this man. His inability to follow orders put every man under his command in danger. Why these guys support him is beyond me. He wanted out, and so he put himself before his crew. What a selfish, souless bastard. I hope he rots in hell.

Rush had a caller today who said that perhaps Kerry has promised them some sort of position within his administration if he's elected. That could be quite a motivater for some people.
