OK. Is there ANY way these stories are true?

Because I do find it hard to believe that a major party nominee for President would lie so flagrantly for decades about such a thing.

If the secret gun-running missions are true, Kerry needs to explain why he feels he can chat about military secrets with reporters. And why someone who does that would still be a fit C-in-C.

"...Because I do find it hard to believe that a major party nominee for President would lie so flagrantly for decades about such a thing."

Frightening that Harkin, McGreevey, Kerry and others (only God knows how many others!)lied flagrantly, repeatedly and with a culpable press to back them up.

Prior to Rush, FOX News, FREE Republic, Drudge, Lucianne and the Internet, lying liberals would have pulled this off in a heartbeat. However, alternative media which is eating away at the Broken Main Stream Media's flagrant bias, is providing a service to the American people - objective, truthful journalism. We may not always agree on the findings of an objective piece but we give it a hearing.

9/10 Kerry is running a MSMedia campaign in a 9/11 alternative news source world where lies are uncovered with a click of the mouse.

I would be very nervous about this as well, but for one major thing: the entire contemporary Democrat party has a post-modern brand. Post modernism is a reaction to modernism, with its pseudoscientific determinism. Dialect materialism, which allegedly dictated the development of communism from capitalism, was a product of modernism.

Modernism was very restrictive, since its pseudoscientific precepts, having their basis in Calvinistic double predestination, by definition denied free will and liberty. A ruling elite (the apparatchiks of a central committee plus celebrity and academic "intelligentsia") will govern the masses, who are unable to govern themselves. As a reaction to those ideas, the pseudoscience is rejected in favor of a philosophy of relational concepts. Having no absolutes morally or politically or philsophically, except the idea that there are no absolutes, post-modernism suggests that each person has its own perceptual reality.

A participant in that morass of relativism becomes unable to discern truth from self-deception. John Kerry is a good example of a very pathological manifestation, philosophically, of post-modern malaise. He honestly believes that with enough repetition, his reality can become the nation's.

OK, you may find it hard to believe, but his commanding officer and the men who served with him are providing compelling testimony. Ask any VN combat vet, rookies were NOT selected for secret missions.

If the secret gun-running missions are true, Kerry needs to explain why he feels he can chat about military secrets with reporters. And why someone who does that would still be a fit C-in-C. Kerry will send in his sycophants. Like all the libs, he doesn't need to exlain squat.
