Tax breaks and tax reliefs are conservative principles. Why aren't we upset about the blind getting some kind of tax break, or those over 65? Or what about families with many children? Is it fair that a couple who was infertile but wanted kids has to pay more taxes because they couldn't have them?
Why has Keyes ignored the Native Americans? They have a story to tell too. I wonder if we can get the Congressional Budget Office to "score" this little proposal. My off the top guess is 110-150 billion per year.
You do understand the difference between a blind person getting a $1,000 tax credit and an entire race of people being completely exempted from taxes for two generations, right?
