Maybe this campaign is really all about legalizing drugs!

Yeah, well, I think they thought they would get legalized drugs with the Clinton Administration. But instead, we got a serious anti-smoking campaign. They don't make much sense, do they.

And the SwiftVets get grief because of a $100,000 donation by Bob Perry. Perry doesn't even make the top 50 on the 527 total donation list.

This is a talking point that the feeble RNC missed. It's obvious that they were going to attack the funding from a 'guy in Texas', and our talking heads should have been using this statistic. Sometimes, I can't believe how poorly the message is managed on this side.

I know that it's a key issue for Soros.

Leaving the office now... BTTT

This certainly is eye-opening. Worth emailing to a few folks I know, who will not be happy to receive it...

Can people email the talk shows on this? Seems newsworthy now.

An investigative reporter could really run with this for awhile.

Are they allowed to run adds in the last 60 days? not, that the law ever stopped the modern Democratic party.

Yeah, although they may be regulated on what they can say.

Can someone explain this to me?

Joint Victory Fund is made of the Media Fund and America Coming Together. So if you go to the OpenSecrets.org link and click on "Top 50 Cmtes", the top three are:

1) Joint Victory Fund
2) Media Fund (TMF)
3) America Coming Together (ACT)

The total receipts from these three added together is almost $100 million. Why is the Joint Victory Fund even allowed to exist? Doesn't it seem a little weird that both TMF and ACT are getting multi-millions of funding and then the Joint Victory Fund receives money and then splits it between TMF and ACT. Any illegal activity going on here?

THAT would be a tough sell to hubby. Progressive is the ONLY company with reasonable rates on bike as far as we know. If anyone knows differently, please inform me!! At last they only have our bikes - not the cars, home, etc.

Ping because Progressive Insurance - the great motorcycle insurance co - is involved DEEPLY with moveon.org. Do either of you know of a good alternative and REASONABLE motorcycle insurer???

I wonder if there is some ultra rich tax sheltering going on. Just like the sneaky dims to pull something fishy.

Top Five are all JINOS sadly...something I will never comprehend. They prefer savages who have cut off the heads of their brethren and wish to exterminate their entire tribe from the face of the earth over an evangelical quasi-conservative Christian president.

Makes no sense.

One should look at these groups and who sponsors them as well. Changing Horizons is a lefty stew of shite and it's biggest donors are the United Way, Levis, Pacific Gas and Electric and Wells Fargo.

Unfriggin believable.

We are way behind the curve...like idiots.

Looks to me like an even $35 million is being double counted. $21,800,000 to the Media Fund from JVF 2004 and VF 2004, and $13,200,000 to ACT from these same two.
